The Plan Grande community is made up of 80 families but only 25% of the population has access to potable water. The scarcity of water has created health problems, prevented the full development of individuals, families and the community, and is an obstacle to undertaking projects that could generate resources.
This project will provide water to all of the families and includes the implementation of projects for creating the resources needed to ensure sustainability and raise the quality of life for families.
Likewise, the project is supporting 12 of the poorest families with construction of housing. The NGO Habitat for Humanity is collaborating with the effort by coordinating and supervising the housing activities.
Mexichem is proud to install pipes and fittings for this important effort.
