We serve a wide variety of markets, such as telecommunications, including CATV networks; energy, including oil and gas collection, as well as electrical transmission and distribution conduit; transportation networks including intelligent highways and street lighting; municipal and industrial pipe for potable, waste, and process water and gases; enterprise and data networks for hospitals, universities, and industrial automation; and irrigation systems, with both electrical controls/ power supply and golf course/ turf irrigation.
Amanco is a leading brand in Latin America in the manufacturing and marketing of PVC piping systems, fittings and accessories for fluid conduction, mainly water, and others such as electricity, serving markets in the construction (residential and commercial), infrastructure or agriculture sectors. It also manufactures geosynthetics and specializes in providing innovative and high-quality solutions for transport, oil and mining infrastructure projects. With its non-woven geotextiles it is present in the automotive, footwear and roofing markets, among others.
The commercial activity of Mexichem’s plants in the State of Mexico and Leon is supported by a broad network of hardware stores and wholesale distribution centers.
The Vinyl business strengthens the industrial and export base of recognized local companies dedicated to the production of PVC resin and products derived from salt, chlorine and caustic soda. Mexichem’s plants in Altamira, Tlaxcala, the State of Mexico, and El Salto supply hundreds of companies, sustaining the value chain of countless products.
Mexichem’s Fluor Business includes the operation of one of the world’s largest fluorite mine, located in San Luis Potosi. Thanks to this raw material, Mexichem serves a large number of market sectors as a result of the fact that fluorite is present in gasoline, in nuclear fuels, integrated circuits, and in non-stick coatings and toothpastes. It is used in the manufacture of steel, glass, ceramics and cement, which are primary materials in housing construction and the large urban infrastructure sectors.
The Fluent Business is focused on the production of piping systems for drinking water, sewage, rainwater and irrigation, as well as the need to bring gas, power, voice and data to Mexicans. Mexichem also produces geosynthetics used in the construction of roads, tunnels, reservoirs, anti-erosion barriers and drains.
