Mexichem entered the Honduran market in 2007, specifically the market for PVC piping, connections and accessories for fluid conduction, primarily for water and other uses such as conduit for electrical cables. In recent years, Mexichem’s positive growth has resulted in the establishment of a plant producing roof coverings.
In Honduras, Mexichem employs 100 people that work daily to offer Mexichem’s customers that best products and services options, contributing to improving the quality of life for the Latin American population.
Mexichem is constantly growing and expanding and offers a diverse portfolio of piping and connections for a wide range of clients in the residential construction, infrastructure and agricultural markets. Mexichem also has a roof coverings plant. In recent years, Mexichem’s portfolio of products in El Salvador has grown to include: GRP polyester reinforced piping with fiberglass for hydroelectric installations and culverts; large-diameter Novafort and Novaloc piping; biaxial molecular oriented PVC pipe rainwater collection systems; AquaCell PCV rainwater collection systems; PVC pipes, polyethylene pipes and connections; water tanks, composters and septic tanks; geosynthetics; and the design, supply and installation of plumbing and irrigation systems. For the category of construction systems: Rooftec aluzinc sheeting, Prodex thermo-acoustic insulation, Decra gravillada roof tile, and Amatek forestry products: wood, MDF and plywood.
